The patient is a 6-month old infant who was born with Metopic Craniosynostosis and has a classic dysmorphology of a forehead with bitemporal narrowing and trigonocephaly. The plan is a combined surgical approach with pediatric plastic and craniofacial surgery as well as pediatric neurosurgery. The team will be performing a bifrontal orbital advancement which is for reconstructing the anterior cranial vault and allowing for expansion of the anterior cranial vault to give more space for the brain and to reshape the skull and the superorbital rims.
